Steps from Bathurst Street in Downtown Toronto, our centrally located venue is self-enclosed with a dedicated street entrance, comprising 2 floors (~5,000 square feet) in an updated historic building with tons of character and modern amenities.
StartWell’s venue rental includes everything you need for presentations; from furniture to AV, plus we offer a bar and coffee/tea service as well as catering options.
Enough space for any type of event
Our event building at 782 King Street West offers two floors which can be optionally booked together.
Main event space (2nd floor)
Perfect for all types of events, the space is bright and open – with space for 100-200 people to enjoy presentations, mingle and lounge all on a single floor.

Need more space? Exclusively take-over both the main event space and its lower level.
Combined, this two floor venue at 782 King St W has its own street entrance with options to flow guests into a lower level for dedicated reception area and coat check or into our expansive main event space itself.
The lower floor includes 3 private break-out/meeting spaces (2x 6 person and 1x 12 person) + 2 open lounge areas with his/hers bathrooms and an optional passageway into our main espresso bar and coworking building (where we have additional meeting spaces, offices and a professional podcast studio.)

- Audio-visual equipment: Professional Audio system (built-in PA & DJ Booth with Wireless & Wired Microphones, 2 LED TVs on wheels, an HDMI projector with movable screen.
- High Speed WiFi (200Mbps+ with wired/ethernet connections if requested)
- Built-in Bar with a spray-nozzle sink, dishwasher, fridges, microwave, beer keg fridges and popcorn machine.
- Flexible Furniture: 5x high top walnut tables, 20+ white bar stools, 3x round walnut
tables (with 4 chairs each), 3x long (acadia wood) tables on castors (8 ft. x 3ft), with 4x (4 seater) grey modern couches, 2x green modern armchairs, black/white trellis carpets and movable tropical plants.
- teaBot – a standalone robot that brews fresh loose leaf tea on demand!
Optional Extra Services
- Bartenders & Bar-backs – serving our house red/white wine or microbrewed beer on tap, as well as custom cocktails.
- Baristas – have your guests visit our espresso bar for custom barista drinks (within the same buildings as the main event space.)
- Security (as needed.)
- Catering & Food service – our preferred vendor partner creates custom menu and service solutions for any need or limitation (allergies or meal type are not a problem.)
- Photography (our photographers don’t watermark their shots and let you do whatever you’d like with photos captured at the event.)
- Videography – footage of your event; raw or edited into a finished production you can share however you want.
- Livestreaming – we can setup single or multi-cam live recordings of events at the venue, to stream on a single channel like Facebook or to multiple channels (YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIN, Private Servers using RTSP) simultaneously.
- Extra Space – we have 10 break-out and meeting rooms on-campus – sized from 2 to 20 people per room.
- Professional Podcast Studio – book the studio and use our mic equipment to record content with your event participants

Green P (metered) parking available on King Street daily plus underground paid parking is available across the street in the 775 King West Minto condos. Entrance is on Tecumseth & King just behind Shoppers Drug Mart. *We also have back ally access for vendor deliveries.
