This unique standalone facility features a large curved-wall studio space that has in-ceiling theatrical lighting and projection – allowing audiences to enjoy great looking presentations in person and via live-stream.
The building has a retail entrance and parking lot – making it easy for your guests to attend corporate events involving keynotes, fireside chats, panel discussions, roundtables etc.. accessorised by social hours and open concept breakouts and dining.

- Bar/Kitchen Area – With sink, dishwasher, stainless steel fridge, microwave.
- Furniture – The building has two main zones which each have their own street entrances and table/chair racks on wheels with the same number of items (10 rectangular 72″x30″ tables and 40 folding chairs.)
- High Speed WiFi – Cisco/Meraki powered enterprise-grade network with 1GBPS fiber connection to the building.
- Remote Access – The building can be unlocked remotely from our mobile app or on-demand or during certain hours – making access easy during your booking.
- Common Space tech – 55″ LED screen on wheels w/HDMI, 1080 ceiling mounted projector w/HDMI & Apple Airplay wireless connectivity, JBL EON ONE sound-system with wired mic input + hard-wired and bluetooth connectivity, USB 360 degree microphone plus USB conferencing camera.
- Event Studio tech – 1x 4K Theatrical projector (ceiling mounted) on main/focal wall (for projected backgrounds behind stage area) 2x 1080 ceiling mounted projectors on long wall (for accessory media/branding projection), Theatrical ceiling-rigged lighting for stage and audience lighting, JBL EON ONE sound-system with wired mic input + hard-wired and bluetooth connectivity, USB 360 degree microphone plus USB conferencing camera, Mac M1 Mini (in booth) for projector control and livestream management.
- Coffee & Tea – The facility features a self-service looseleaf tea robot and our team brews fresh coffee throughout your booking period.
Optional Extras
- Photography – Our photographers don’t watermark their shots and let you do whatever you’d like with photos captured at the event.
- Live Streams & Film Production – our managed services team can produce content for live streaming or post-production using our Blackmagic studio suite in 1080 or 4K with up to 4 cameras simultaneously recording.
- Catering & Food service – We can recommend solutions or you can simply use your own caterer for no extra fees!
- Open Bar – Featuring house red and white wine plus craft beer and serving staff as needed.
- Extra Space – We can accessorise venue booking with overflow space or additional work and meeting space around the corner at StartWell’s main King Street buildings.

Large open area with kitchen/espresso-bar, 2 washrooms and a presentation space featuring ceiling mounted projector, smart tv on wheels plus high tops for cocktail setup and folding tables and chairs for row seating, workshop or conference setups.
The main studio space – for presentations & more
2 Curved walls with corner-less cove, high 16′ ceilings, truss for custom lighting rigs + 3 ceiling mounted projectors for instant branding, atmosphere and presentations. With folding tables and chairs for row seating, workshop or conference setups.
For Presentations: With in-house audio-visual equipment and services, our team can manage multi-screen projections and custom light a stage experience for an in-room and virtual (hybrid) audience, making this the best space solution in Toronto for streamed conferences that require in-room seating for up to 100 people.
For Large Conference & Workshop Seating: Our round (4 person, 48″ diameter) and rectangular tables (8 person, 72″x30″) can be used for all sorts of setups. We provide all the furniture and AV you need – with wired and wireless mic options and large projections for impactful presentations.
Typical max seating formats around the table include:
- Workshop/Bench style (single sided) – 6 rows of 3 tables = 54 people
- Long rows (double sided) – 3 rows of 6 tables = 108 people
- Seperated tables, length-wise (seating all around) – 3 rows of 4 tables + 2 extra tables on end = 112 people
- ‘O’ shaped conference setup – 14 tables in an oval = 42 people
Custom Activations: Accessorise your corporate offsite with interactive programming (like massive arcade game setups, custom branded ping pong and more) or use the facility for pop-ups.

We want people to feel enabled and happy when coming together at StartWell – all of our meeting spaces include services like complimentary tea/coffee and still/sparkling water – plus video conferencing tools configured for the booked room and white boards, flip charts, stationary, markers and more!

We make it easier than ever to communicate between your team at StartWell and anyone outside of the building – with bookable meeting spaces which include complimentary conference phone usage with calling anywhere in North America out of the box.
*We use enterprise grade Polycom technology ensuring clear calls.
