We began in 2017 as a coworking community enabling early stage ventures to find paths to scale - but over time, clients needs evolved - and so did we.
Its easy to decorate an office and fill it with ergonomic furniture, but enabling team culture that celebrates collaboration is tough in an office....
...So our evolution involved creating a place for corporate teams to come together and be themselves here at StartWell.
Every year we welcome tens of thousands of people from all types of companies who gather here to present information, learn from one another and create solutions together whilst having fun.
Our 3 large suites are designed to make it easy to deliver content on stage, and fun to participate as an audience.
We make it dead simple to come together and be in the moment - our team handles audio-visuals and we even have baristas at our complimentary front desk espresso bar to keep your team caffeinated and hydrated whilst here on campus.

Frequently asked questions about booking event space and meeting rooms at StartWell
How much does it cost to rent meeting rooms in Toronto?
Costs range depending on the type of venue you consider - here at StartWell, we suggest budgeting about $50 - $75 per guest attending your session.
A 10 person meeting room like Cube for example, costs $650/day ($65/person) - whilst our large Offsite Venue is $5,000 and can seat 100 people ($50/person.)
What is the neighbourhood like where StartWell is located?
For many reasons, this is the best neighborhood in Toronto for team building activities and dining to book-end your meeting or event at StartWell.
'King West' features some of Toronto's best bars, restaurants, boutique hotels and shopping amongst century houses and modern condos.
We are near the financial core and Union Station (10 mins to St Andrew subway), close to the Exhibition GO station and just off Lakeshore Boulevard + the Gardiner Expressway.
What is the meeting experience like at StartWell and why is it unique?
Our campus occupies full buildings - so you and your guests can walk in off the street, plus our neighbourhood is pedestrian friendly - your days at StartWell feel distinctly 'downtown' in a really friendly way.
Our reception features friendly barista staff who can help settle your guests in with free drinks and directions plus our ground floor features common lounge spaces, meeting rooms and call booths - so you never feel trapped in the room you've booked.
Its kind of like being on holiday at a boutique hotel with your colleagues - right in downtown Toronto.
How do I book meeting rooms and event venues at StartWell?
Its easy; you can look through our listings here on our website - when you click on one you want to book - simply select the:
- Calendar date you desire
- Add on any extras offered (like professional livestreaming/recording service)
- Choose the desired time for your booking
- Press 'book now' to add that room to your cart
- Add any others to the cart and then checkout to instantly pay with a credit card and confirm your booking!
After placing a booking, you'll get a confirmation link via email with a calendar invite for each booked room - that email has a link you can use to reschedule your booking incase you ever need to (for no extra charge!)
