A Breaking News Interview with California Governor Gavin Newsom in studio at StartWell

Can't Be Censored is a video podcast hosted by former CBC and CP24 news hosts Travis Dhanraj and Karman Wong.

Amidst trade war disputes between the USA and Canada they needed to conduct a remote interview with the Governor of California Gavin Newsom on camera, and gave us a call to book a studio.

We hosted the interview in our roundtable podcast studio and turned around a 4k multi-cam recording of the session for them to go live with the same evening (watch it here.)

All 3 stages and film 4 studios at StartWell in Toronto are wired to both record linear content in high quality multicam 4k as well as go live on any broadcast or video conferencing platform - so sessions like this can happen anywhere on campus when you're at StartWell.

    This bright and spacious 1st floor suite features a large lounge with armchairs and couches, plus full AV for presentations and enough space for large conference tables or intimate row seating setups. With West facing windows - plus two glass walls facing our espresso bar, Cube is always bright and comfortable. This suite is flanked by a bank of call booths and next to our Library space - the two combined creates a great solution for intimate all-day sessions.
