GitHub Finds a Home in Toronto at StartWell King West

Over the past couple of weeks the StartWell team has been working hard to bring on some really interesting folks into our community of innovators. One team we are particularly excited to welcome at our King West campus this week is GitHub, the world's leading software development platform! Known for having a pretty awesome global headquarters in San Francisco, Githubbers outside of the Valley typically work remotely by themselves or in cafes so it was really exciting when a couple of them based in Toronto came to us with the idea of dedicating a space at our King West campus to GitHub for anyone working at the company in Toronto to drop in and share :) *Note, this news has nothing to do with Microsoft just announcing the $7.5B acquisition of GitHub, though we'd be happy to accomodate folks from Microsoft reading this if they need a place to have happier, more productive work days :)

This spacious suite is perfect for all types of large corporate gatherings - from meetings to thought leadership sessions to seminars/trainings to socials. Fully furnished with layout options - plus full AV for stage presentations, content recording and live streaming. The space has a mixture of comfy lounge seating, hightop bar/eating areas and row seating plus a presentation space - all located just above our espresso bar at reception and looking onto King Street from a glass wall.
