Founded in 1905, the Institute of Canadian Agencies is the not-for-profit association for Canadian advertising, marketing, media, and public relations agencies.
For the ICA's 2025 Annual General Meeting, representatives from member agencies across Canada convened in Toronto and virtually (through live broadcast) at the StartWell Offsite Venue.
Here's a summary of what happened:
- ICA President & CEO Scott Knox announced big plans for the year ahead, including how we’re doubling down on championing Canadian marketing effectiveness.
- ICA Chair Beverley Hammond announced the 2025 Board of Directors: Ira Baptiste, Julien Bissuel, Elyse Boulet, Beverley Hammond, Scott Knox, Sacha Lai-Svirk, Devon MacDonald, Lorri MacDonald, Melody MacPherson, Eve Rémillard Larose, Paulo Salomao, Ben Tarr, Ryan Timms, and Emma Toth.
- Fellow of the ICA Arthur Fleischmann had the honour of inducting three new Fellows in recognition of their dedication to the ICA and its mission. Congratulations to Brett Channer, Andy Krupski, and Greg Power.
- Special guests, Dan Mader of Loyalist Public Affairs, and Former MPP & Former Cabinet Minister Lisa MacLeod, joined to shed light on how the Canadian agency sector can benefit more from government lobbying efforts.
