When you book space at StartWell, we include everything you'll need except catering, so all you need to do is:

  • Choose the right event venue and/or meeting room(s) for your session to book here online at our website
  • Focus on the content and strategy for your session.

Ultimately, you'll need to consider the following things in order to choose the right mix of spaces here for your booking - and our team is always available via email or phone to discuss all of this, so feel free to reach out at any point when planning upcoming sessions:

  1. What is the expected attendee count? Once you know how many people are expected to attend you can think about the seating arrangement you'll need plus other comfort factors - like whether the chosen venue needs to have lounge space within it, dedicated washrooms, private retail/street entrances and so on.
  2. Does your agenda require private rooms for breakouts or focused work? Because we have a bunch of venues and spaces at a single location, StartWell is unique - you can book a main room for 100 people to have meals and enjoy keynotes, for example, as well as meeting rooms to break the group into 5 additional rooms for focused working sessions - which can all be enabled with video conferencing and presentation equipment. A venue option like our Third Floor can accomodate a large team session and breakouts within a single suite!
  3. Does your session involve stage presentations? What kind? Our larger event venues all have built-in AV systems with robust support for stage delivery. We can accomodate keynotes, fireside chats, discussion panels, roundtables and more - StartWell's studio team makes complicated virtual and hybrid setups easy; so you can even record and broadcast your presentations with Netflix-grade production quality.
  4. What is your budget? We recommend confirming how much you have to spend before considering our options. Save thousands of dollars by booking meeting rooms and event venues at StartWell - all of our options come with free micro-roastery coffee, teas, reverse-osmosis filtered still/sparking water, furnishings, full AV (including stage equipment where needed plus video conferencing cameras) and presentation stationary (white boards, flip charts, markers, erasers etc...).

How much does it cost to rent meeting rooms in Toronto?

Costs range depending on the type of venue you consider - here at StartWell, we suggest budgeting about $50 - $75 per guest attending your session. A 10 person meeting room like Cube for example, costs $640/day ($64/person) - whilst our large Offsite Venue is $4,000 and can accomodate 100 people ($40/person.)

What is the neighbourhood like where StartWell is located?

For many reasons, this is the best neighborhood in Toronto for team building activities and dining to accesorize your booking at StartWell. 'King West' features some of Toronto's best bars, restaurants, boutique hotels and shopping amongst century houses and modern condos. How do I book meeting rooms and event venues at StartWell?

Its easy; you can look through our listings here on our website - when you click on one you want to book - simply select the:

  • Calendar date you desire
  • Add on any extras offered (like professional livestreaming/recording service)
  • Choose the desired time for your booking
  • Press 'book now' to add that room to your cart
  • Add any others to the cart and then checkout to instantly pay with a credit card and confirm your booking!

After placing a booking, you'll get a confirmation link via email with a calendar invite for each booked room - that email has a link you can use to reschedule your booking incase you ever need to (for no extra charge!)
