Changes to the capital gains tax in summer 2024 shocked and confused a lot of people across Canada.
Rather than just post a commentary in blog format or write an opinion piece in a newspaper, our friends at McRock Capital turned to comedy and came to us with a fun concept.
The idea was to revive a classic comedy sketch called 'Bob and Doug Mackenzie' from SCTV (a show that ran on the CBC in the 80s which launched the careers of now famous folks like Martin Short, Eugene Levy and the duo we represented - Rick Moranis and Dave Thomas.)
Our integrated studio developed the creative into a set with custom artwork and printing for the backdrop, then shot and edited the segment - and it was received with great feedback from McRock's partners and followers.

This spacious suite is perfect for all types of large corporate gatherings - from meetings to thought leadership sessions to seminars/trainings to socials. Fully furnished with layout options - plus full AV for stage presentations, content recording and live streaming. The space has a mixture of comfy lounge seating, hightop bar/eating areas and row seating plus a presentation space - all located just above our espresso bar at reception and looking onto King Street from a glass wall.
