Filmmaker Q&A with Guneet Monga and Karan Johar at StartWell's Event Studio

During TIFF 2023 Product of Culture brought an intimate audience of about 100 South Asian creatives together at StartWell’s Event Studio in downtown Toronto to hear a conversation between Academy Award winning Director/Producer Guneet Monga and Bollywood Icon Karan Johar, moderated by film critic Sucharita Tyagi.

This was the first Q&A to follow the world premiere of their new horror film called Kill, and the conversation not only talked about producing and financing films but Guneet’s relationship with the global film circuit and advice for young creatives considering careers in filmmaking.
