Jorge Posada on photographic conceptual works with Phase One & Hasselblad cameras

For this inaugural episode of Behind The Scenes at StartWell Studios, we sit down with Colombian-Canadian artist Jorge Posada and his producer, Benjamin Samson from Talentosa Productions. The team produce commercial work as well as fine art projects that offer deep narrative through highly composed large format photography using Hasselblad and Phase One cameras in combination with thoughtful lighting, set design and actors.

You’ll hear how they met and started working together plus take a deep dive into a recent project called ‘Main & 3rd’ – a conceptual photographic work that seeks to help preserve the cultural heritage of a building in downtown Vancouver.

The space has a mixture of comfy lounge seating, hightop bar/eating areas and row seating plus a presentation space - all located just above our espresso bar at reception and looking onto King Street from a glass wall.
